How to use your
elevation rod:
New design structural system of the elevation rod is
available in the metric and the American System. The rod
has no obstacles from top to bottom for the laser clamp
and offers excellent visibility for long distance view.
The reverse side of the elevation rod boasts two locking
mechanisms: The top lock is to secure the band while the
lower lock is to secure the indicator of the cut and
fill.
1. Back
indicator in zero.
2.
Adjust front tape with benchmark.
3. Look for field elevation in front tape,
from blue print.
4. Move
back indicator up or down for cut or fill.
The principal
difference in the new design of the Magic Rod: The front
part and the numeric band runs vertically looking for
the elevation, and on the reverse the indicator will
give you the correct amount of cut or fill.
